1. Agreement
These Terms govern your purchase and use of ToneOut (the “Software”), a self-hosted application you install and operate on your own infrastructure. By subscribing you agree to these Terms.
2. License
Your active subscription grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to run one ToneOut server per license key for the duration of your paid term. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Software or your license key.
3. Subscription, trial & billing
Paid plans begin with a 7-day free trial; you are not charged until the trial ends, and you may cancel during the trial at no cost. After the trial, plans are billed annually at the rate shown on the pricing page for the tier and any add-ons (additional radios or users) you select, and renew automatically each year until canceled. Cancellation stops future renewals and the license deactivates at the end of the paid term after an offline grace window. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
4. Acceptable use & compliance
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your monitoring, recording, and use of radio signals complies with all laws and regulations that apply to you. The Software is provided as a tool; it does not grant any right to intercept communications you are not otherwise permitted to receive.
5. Warranty & liability
The Software is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ToneOut is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the preceding twelve months.
